Fullflow are design, manufactured and installed a syphonic system for Toyota in Onnaing France. This system removes rainwater from the 110,400m2 roof area using 655 outlets to just 54 downpipes. At its design rainfall intensity of 180mm/hr the system is capable of discharging at a rate of a maximum 5,500L/S. A total of 700 Primaflow® outlets drain the rainwater into 54 downpipes.
Following their excellent collaboration with Toyota on many projects such as the Derby manufacturing plant, Fullflow was involved in the design of the building in Valenciennes. The 110,000 m2 plant is Toyota’s hub for Eastern Europe is one of France’s major sites.
The benefit of Fullflow’s prefabrication of pipe was demonstrated on site where 166 subcontractors were present. By pre-mounting the 6m pipe sections on rails in optimal conditions at the Fullflow workshops, the deadlines on site were respected despite the obstacles coactivity generated. Thanks to Fullflow’s bilingual staff present on site, all co-ordination aspects, supervised by Bovis Europe, were perfectly managed with both French contractors and English companies such as Coverite-SIAC.
