Pictured is a development for Booker Property Investment and occupied by Holroyd Meek Ltd. Rated at Category 3, the 18,000 m² roof area is drained using just 17 downpipes. At its design rainfall intensity of 150 mm/hr the system is capable of discharging a maximum 750 L/S.
Some of the larger projects undertaken by Fullflow in the UK have been for the Booker Group. On the five Booker developments recently successfully completed, Fullflow has worked closely with Burks Green and Partners, the M & E Consultants and Howard Associates, the Project Managers. Fullflow is well able to meet the demands of this scale of project having a formidable design and management team in house. The unique Fullflow system utilises the patented self priming outlet saving the cost of specially made gutter-boxes needed to drive other systems. The Fullflow design software, Primacalc, has been tested by H R Wallingford and found to be within 98% accurate of true flow conditions within the pipework. This gives confidence to the Client that the Fullflow system allows the rainwater to be discharged from the roof under managed conditions and within known tolerances.
