Following the successful completion of a number of prestigious projects on behalf of Lend Lease in Australia, the company turned to Fullflow to assist in the roof drainage of the Bluewater Shopping Centre development, the largest in Europe with a roof area of 96,250 m².
Such was the importance and complexity of utilising a syphonic system within the building concept that Fullflow was invited to become a member of the design team. This was a significant change in relationship between specialist contractor and employer, enabling project architects Benoy and consultants, Waterman Partnership to make full use of the turnkey rainwater service, allowing smooth interface of trades from roof to underground.
Fullflow was required to take into consideration different pipe materials chosen by the tenants. The analytical software, Primacalc, was able to accommodate pipe specifications from HDPE through to proprietary metal systems.
