Rainwater is a valuable resource which plays an essential part in sustainable development and rainwater recovery is increasingly being included as standard in the design of new buildings in the UK.
The cost benefits to be gained from recycling rainwater are considerable, mains water consumption can be reduced by 50 - 75% in commercial, educational and industrial applications. This not only reduces the client’s mains water bill dramatically, but reduces the impact on the environment.
Fullflow's syphonic drainage system requires considerably fewer downpipes than a traditional system, which makes it far easier to route rainwater to a specific collection point for harvesting. The Fullflow syphonic system is particularly suited to rainwater harvesting because of the flexibility it offers. There is no need for gradient with a syphonic system, so pipework can be routed horizontally and around obstacles if required; ultimately discharge location is not restricted or dictated by gravity flow. Rainwater from any number of outlets can be syphoned to a predetermined discharge point.
