Research & Development

Fullflow have been instrumental in the advancement of syphonic drainage technology and have a wealth of knowledge and understanding in this field. We have a full size syphonic test rig at Sheffield University available for testing and research development. Our on-going research and development programme is focused on driving through product enhancement so that further benefits can be passed on to the customer. The programme covers areas such as outlet design, flow characteristics of pipework systems and the optimisation of outlet location. At all times our focus is on the provision of a high quality, high efficiency system offering value for money.

In 1992 Fullflow developed Primaflow®, their innovative syphonic rainwater outlet and Primacalc®, a powerful analytical design software package. The company’s reputation has been endorsed by numerous awards for their products including in 1994 the overall award for innovation in the prestigious Roofdec awards ceremony.

Fullflow prides itself on the technical performance of its products born through the commitment to research and development. This was further highlighted in a report published for the Department of the Environment by HR Wallingford - report SR 463 (please contact Fullflow for details), clearly illustrating the superior performance of Fullflow rainwater outlets over their main competitors.

As part of the company’s continuing growth and expansion into new markets, subsidiary offices were opened in 2001 in Paris and Madrid. These operations are now separate businesses run by indigenous staff.

Fullflow is continually looking to grow internationally and would welcome enquiries regarding possible distribution or partnering arrangements in Europe and the rest of the world.
